Retail/ Wholesale Restaurant Chain is seeking an IT Support Specialist looking for an outstanding opportunity.
Currently 23 restaurants, with more to come.
The position of IT Support Specialist is an important one for our organization, reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities include:
• Support and maintain all computer hardware at the corporate office, retail stores and commissary
• Support and maintain the company’s multiple servers and network
• Maintain and update the company’s website menus as needed
• Implementation of system and software upgrades as necessary
• Support of retail POS systems as well as PC hardware for 23 retail food service units
• Coordinate efforts of external IT support firms when needed.
• Assist with other IT related duties as necessary
Requirements
• At least 3-5 years experience in an IT support role
• Experiencing maintaining a LAN and servers is essential
• Retail or restaurant POS experience is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills and professional manner
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Great follow-up skills
• Self starter mentality and ability to handle multiple tasks critical
• Compensation commensurate with experience
• High interest in Service and Support
• Programming experience is not required nor is it an asset for this job.
